Summary of this Book...
Most children eventually ask, "Where do babies come from?" Here's the book to have on hand for when that day comes. When Mom and Dad tell their son a baby is on the way, they don't have time to answer any questions, so he starts asking around. The babysitter says babies are planted as seeds and then grow up to be baby trees. His teacher tells him babies come from the hospital. Grandpa says a stork will leave the baby at the doorstep. The mailman thinks babies come from eggs. Very confused at this point, the boy asks his parent, "Where do babies come from?" Come to find out, the babysitter, teacher, and mailman were partially right, but Grandpa had it all wrong!

I especially liked... | ||
At the very back, are more detailed answers to the questions children might ask about where babies come from. Whether your child is ready for more details, or the not so detailed version, this is the perfect book for the day they become curious about babies.
The author of this Book...
Sophie Blackall is also the illustrator of this book. She's not only written a tasteful book about where babies come from, but also has provided wonderful illustrations for this book.
I recommend this Book because...
I used to work in a library and I know parents sometimes need a little help with talking to their child about how babies are made and where do they come from. This is a great book to have on hand, just right for that moment.
