Wroblewski is an excellent prose poet. His perspectives and style are unique and cultured. The writing itself is quirky and, at times, both beautiful and brutal. This collection is amazing on every level. I do not love every piece, but those that I love are truly adored. He is one of the finest prose poets that I have had the pleasure to read. I might as well mention though that I do not read Polish. I can only say that I love the English translations (which alternate with the Polish versions from page to page).

People who love modern poetry will appreciate it the most.

There are many that I love. They are untitled pieces, which makes it more difficult to "name names". Keep on the lookout for "The inside of a house painter" though. I am particularly fond of that one.
