This is the 4th Season of the popular CBS series. We watched it on Netflix Streaming.

This season has an undercurrent of police corruption at a very high level. Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith on Frasier) is added to the cast as the alluring Inspector General who Frank befriends and then tries to romance. It is refreshing to see a love interest of Tom Selleck who does not look like she has had to have plastic surgery. Neuwirth still manages to look natural and beautiful.

The cast of this show is terrific and pretty stable so far. Standouts are Donnie Wahlberg and Selleck.

I do not like Wahlberg's current partner, Baez, as she looks as if she has had botox injections into her lips. It is very distracting when watching her act the part of a serious detective.

anyone who likes a well written, funny police drama.

I like the fact that the family is at the center of the show, but they don't clutter it up with a lot of romantic nonsense most of the time. It is fast paced and well written, with a lot of humorous asides.

I think this is a great series and so far I am enjoying it immensely!
