This is a TV Show that ran for 7 seasons. It is now on Netflix.

Someone recommended it to me a long time ago. I tried to watch it, but found the mother too annoying (played by Lauren Graham) to continue beyond the first episode.

That person who recommended it is someone I love and admire very much. When she told me that this is her favorite show ever, I decided to give it another chance so Mr. hooves and I watched and hung in here.

We are LOVING it! The mother's character is still annoying at times, but the rest of the cast is brilliant.

It is the story of Lorelei Gilmore, who threw all her rich life away at 16 years old to keep her baby. She didn't get married, but raised her on her own. The daughter (Rory) is lovely and brilliant. The comedy revolves around the small Connecticut town they live in with characters played by Melissa McCarthy, Sally Struthers and Scott Patterson.

The cast is just outstanding in every way with Kelly Bishop and Edward Hermann as Lorelei's parents, the very rich and very neurotic Gilmores.

I especially love Soctt Patterson's portrayal of Luke.

anyone who enjoys a funny show. Hang in there for the first couple of episodes, because Lorelei sort of grows on you.

Melissa McCarthy and Scott Patterson. Brilliant!

we are now hooked on this show and are watching it every night when nothing is on TV and that is most nights of the week.
