I like old movies. This one came as a double DVD thing on another movie I wanted to see. That movie had Carole Lombard and James Stewart.

This movie stars James Stewart and Paulette Goddard. I enjoyed it much more than the other one. It is a silly sort of comedy about a guy who loves music. His rich Uncle tries to get him to come to work for him. The rich uncle hates music.

"Jimmy" (That's Jimmy Stewart's character) moves to where the uncle lives and gets involved with his feud with the local family who makes music all the time.

It is goofy and Jimmy Stewart's singing and moving about (he doesn't really dance) is pretty funny. I liked the pairing of him with Paulette Goddard.

This movie wasn't great, but it wasn't boring. It's kind of silly and, well, musical. lol

if you like dumb old movies that are silly this one was pretty much okay. It was not great, but it entertained me and I was surprised at how silly Jimmy Stewart could be.
