Summary of this Book...
Police detective, Franza, is called to the scene of an accident on the autobahn that might be a murder. As the investigation progresses, many surprises are revealed. The story involves many characters and jumps from scene to scene with abrupt transitions.
I especially liked... | ||
The main character was devoted to her job and her son, both of which was evident as the story progressed. She is a complex character who is unfaithful to her husband without remorse, but a detective with a sense of fairness and belief in ethical behavior.
I didn't like... | ||
While I enjoyed the premise of this story, the final product was disjointed. I believe this might be due to the translation, but in any case I didn't feel the story reached its full potential. The characters, with the exception of the main character, felt flat and underdeveloped. The story skipped from place to place and several of the transitions were rocky. The ending wrapped up the story-line and connected all of the dots for the reader, but it felt rushed.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Send the author a link to Writing.Com and encourage more attention on character development and scene transition.
I don't recommend this Book because...
The English version needs additional attention. I'm blaming problems on the translation as I couldn't read it in the original language.
