When Felicity Worthington is bequeathed a high-class brothel by her cousin, the stipulations require that she learn about the business from Gareth Alexander, Marquess of Heathgate. Felicity needs the funds, and Gareth finds himself unwilling to compromise the woman, despite a past that has turned him cold and uncaring. Now, Felicity and her sister are in danger, and Gareth finds himself in the role of reluctant protector.

There was no chemistry between these two, despite the author's attempts. Gareth was without redeeming characteristics, even after his frozen heart began to thaw.

I have loved the other books in this series, but Gareth and Felicity's story definitely did not live up to my expectations of Grace Burrowe's abilities.
