I read a lot of historical Scottish novels, but these characters had the worst written accent I've ever read.

Also, the idea of one betrothal happening in so few days (think 2 or 3 days after meeting for the very first time) is ludicrous, let alone 6 or 7 happening in the same short time frames.

Read something else, something better.

frustrated at the lack of depth to the story and the ridiculous accents.
