This story had the fast paced action and drama that I have come to expect from Lara Adrian. A real page turner.

This novella is a prequel to the Midnight Breed series. In chronological order, it is the FIRST book in the series, however because it is not intended to be read first, it doesn't contain all the explanation a reader who is new to the series would need. This book is intended to be read by fans of the series.
