You start off at Princess Peach's castle, celebrating her birthday. Suddenly, the huge cake has a bunch of Koopalings hiding inside of it. They capture Princess Peach. Mario has to go on a giant adventure to get her back. In the adventure you jump across the Mushroom Kingdom while you're riding Yoshi, throwing fire balls, and letting Koopa shells bounce around. It's a 2D left to right game with refined graphics instead of pixelated Mario. There are eight worlds to play through.

Everyone who wants a good Mario platformer on their Wii.

You can ride on Yoshi, stomp of Goombas, use a bunch of silly power-ups, and how each world has it's own environment. World one has grass, world two is a desert, and the next worlds ... are a secret.

When you had 99 lives, Mario would lose his hat. This looks like Mario's brown hair is hard to explain. I like him better with his hat.

Collect all of the star coins to unlock the levels in the secret world nine.

As if I traveled to the Mushroom Kingdom.

The game's music is great. One of the songs is the same as the one from the DS version of this game. You can play up to four players at the same time. You can play as Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, or Yellow Toad. Player one is always Mario. Players two through four can choose Luigi or the Toads. They all have the same abilities.
