I am an engineer that has been writing as a hobby for years. I have gotten to the point in my life when I need to either take my writing seriously or give up on the dream of ever being serious about it. I joined Writing.com a decade ago and used it sporadically, but never consistently. This time around I want to get more into the community and take advantage of the encouragement provided by like-minded people.
