I'm new to calling myself a writer, and still look over my shoulder when I say it, because that hasn't been my life. I've written two young adult novels, Believing In Horses, published in 2011, and Believing In Horses, Too, published in 2014. I write stories for magazines, books, and newspapers, and I blog. I have a writing business, Veteran Writing Services, LLC, where I I do mostly technical writing for businesses. I'm here to learn more about writing and loved the 15 for 15 contest - fun, humbling, and exciting. I've enjoyed my interactions in the writing community - positivity rules!
