Do people still read these? You'll know me more from the stories I tell than from anything a little bio-block is going to tell you. I used to write, but from what I see of the future, I don't think I'll be writing the way I used to. It seems a shame to keep words in journals that I'll never publish, because they'll never be quite right. There used to be grand things that I aspired to, fictions that seemed like the future. I was wrong. Whatever the future is, it is far grander than the fictions I've held, and far stranger.
