Retired Navy; twenty-one years, four months and eight days. I retired 31 and a half years ago, became an IT contractor, retired for real five years ago. But, who's counting? Well, I am. I finally have come to the conclusion that I'm old 'cause I'm getting older by the minute. I have been writing for years; initially as a technical writer for the job--far too few IT types could write well enough to be understood by the average office worker--now as a fiction type. I have two stories going: one is about a studies and observations group type in Vietnam and the other is a science fiction sort of thing. Writing is difficult.
