There are certain caveats for visitors to my portfolio. I do not subscribe to the 'showing' vs 'telling' argument nor am I opposed to the passive voice. No, that is neither my attitude nor my incompetence speaking but my conviction that a great story is all about a good hook, sound grammar and a gripping plot. Everything else is secondary.
