Far West Texas author is a pt/time municipal court judge; retired Texas JP; and once chalked up 20 years in Texas newspapers--from reporter, regional and city daily editors, and managing editor on daily; to editor and publisher of weeklies. Won many awards, including helping to notch two 1st places for a daily in public service. Holds B.A. in journalism from UNT and M.A. in political science from UT/ Arlington.
