I was born in Newark, NJ in 1933, graduated from St Bernards in Gladstone in 1952. Joined the Navy to beat the Army draft during the Korean War. Retired with 22 yrs active military service in 1975. Went to College for Oceanic Marine Technology in Lake Jackson, TX. Went to sea and eventually earned my 500-ton master's license. Retired from the sea in 1985 and began teaching electronics at Southern Technical College in Lafayette, LA for several years before moving to Arizona. I lived with my wife of 35 years until she passed over in Oct 2013. I an now living in Uvalde, Texas continuing to enjoy my photography and attempts at writing again.
