I have a long history of writing poems, short stories, published articles, and journal entries. I received a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1986 and a Master's in Social Work in 1988; both from the University of Illinois In Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. I have various experiences as a school social worker, medical social worker, and gymnastics coach. I have four grown children, three grandchildren, and of course my husband of 34 years. I love reading, writing, traveling, biking, spending time with family and friends, sewing, and cooking.
