I am a mostly stifled poet and essayist. I got that way--stifled--from being an editor for more than 20 years. When I was in college, I won intercollegiate awards for newswriting and feature writing for the college newspaper. Between then and now, I published a few poems, essays, interviews, and feature stories in newsletters for various organizations. Now that I have retired from professional perfectionism as an editor, I am ready to devote myself to my muse and allow creativity to flow through me to the printed page.
