Jennifer Halstead was raised in the small town of Elizabeth, West Virginia. She is an avid reader and has loved writing all of her life. She graduated from Marietta College in Ohio. Jennifer is a single mother of one. She and her daughter Kadence love animals and live with two budgies. Jennifer has self published a couple of children's books with her daughter and a book of poetry. She is working on that elusive novel she will finish someday.
