To my grandmother:

So much have you missed in the years you've been gone...

I've graduated college, I'm in love, and life is moving on quickly.

Best friends have married, family members have passed way.

The sun rises and sun sets, the storms of a typical Iowa summer, the lightening bolts and fireworks of life and love.

You've been greatly missed all these years, having been so suddenelly taken from us, though we knew it was coming.

Great strides have been made, and I wish those strides had been made for you, when you were sick.

The things you have missed in the flesh I'm certain you've seen in the spirit. The changes of the family, the things gone though and survived.

We've missed you and we still love you and hope you are as with us in spirit as we are with you!
