One day Roobear began walking down the stairs.

Her two dogs and two cats and two birds decided to

conspire to have a fun day of hi jinx

and they all came hurrying up to meet her.

They became so excited

they started knocking each other

down the stairs

falling,

tumbling,

rolling

down!

When they landed at the bottom of the stairs

the dogs jumped over the cats and all ran away,

the two birds flew up and perched high on top

of the curtains and began chirping loudly.

Roo shook her head at them laughing and

she left for the store to get some food.

They all sang in unison this song they made up

that very day

"Our Roobear, our Roo Roo we always love her so

we miss her when she is

gone

she feeds us in the mornings

she feeds us in the nights

she is ever such a delight.

Oh, where is our Roobear? When will she come home?

quick hide so she will be surprised

someone is knocking answer the door,

we are jumping up from the floor

we will hurry and look and see through the

window who is it who?

we know we are safe now open the door

we will jump up and shout boo

and have a group hug with our Roo Roo!

Our Roobear always has a good sense of humor

with us

she does not mind and she likes our hi jinx!"
