Circle of Thorns, a story out of time or was it?

Faith had taken a book home from the library. It didn't seem to belong to anyone and it had no identifiers to show that it even belonged to the library she worked.

One stormy night she settles before the fireplace during a storm waiting for the electricity to turn back on. While she does so her curiosity leads her to start looking through the book.

As she turns the pages... she well, go read and find out what happens when one is tired, the electricity is out, it is storming outside and you appear to fall asleep...
