Let Go

My heart is torn in two
there is nothing left for me to feel
nothing but this searing pain
why can't I let go and heal

I loved him so much
but to him I am nothing
I want to move on
but I won't keep denying

I still wish
that I could be with him
still wish he'd love me
still wish I could be held by him

But he doesn't care
doesn't want to acknowlege that I'm there
I just want the pain to go
I won't let stray my stare

I will be free
from my self inflicted pain
I have to let it go
or I might go insaine
