Recently, I was gifted a digital camera, and being the overenthusiastic photo nerd I am, I was itching to play with my new toy. My first venture with the camera was in Jupiter, and I had three specific locales in mind when I set out on my jaunt: Blowing Rocks Preserve, DuBois Park and Jupiter Beack Park. This picture was taken at Blowing Rocks in the early afternoon, which gives the blues of the water and the sky their wonderful depths.
Blowing Rocks is known for the water shows that normally are performed at high tide when the water shoots up through the limestome along the shore. Since the hurricanes, much of the limestone has been buried, so the water can't exactly blow through the limestone. It may mean an overall drop in attendance, but it's great for people who want to be (for the most part) alone on the beach. It's a sight to behold!
