Short Stories and Prose

Outside of writing novels, I also write short stories and very short prose. Below is a summary of the few pieces (that will shortly be) in this folder.

AP Chemistry: A short prose piece about the boring-ness of life, as told in 2nd person.

For Maria: An experimental short prose piece, mostly dialogue between 2 sisters. One wants what the other one has, and the other one wishes that they could give it away.

Cars Going By...: A bit of an older piece about a personal assitant in love with her high-powered client.

One Penny Short and Dropping Bombs: 2 separate, unrelated, but very short prose pieces concerning (a) frustration with how fleeting love is and (b) the harsh reality of life.

Her Little Secret: Medium-length short story about a girl who has only one solace in the world, her secret.

Puff, Puff, Puff: A silly (but not funny), rather short prose piece that gives a look at one woman's relationship with her cigarettes.

Queen Esther: A very silly, very bad poem I had to write for English class.
