a poem about a lost lover who tries to mend a broken heart, but instead drops it again.
You left me
wondering what was wrong with me
why did i give you the key
to my deepest soul?

you left me
wanting to put you in my life
thinking bout one day being your wife
and i know it was a dream because

you left me
feeling like i was all alone
cuz no one wanted to call me their own
and i was back to square one where

you left me
said you wished it wasn't true
but it was what you had to do
and we were back to being 'friends' when

you left me
i tried to act like it didn't sting
when you told me the things
that i didn't want to hear, that

you left me
crying in my pillow that night
when you told me what i knew was right
that you had to be with her.

you left me.
now you want me to do it again
cuz you said it's to hard to just be a friend
and it hasn't been the same for you since

you left me
now you're trying to take the words back
like boyfriend an girlfriend you want to act
but that cannot change the fact that

YOU LEFT ME.
