I know I sound like a love-stricken teen. These depressing love poems are all I have.
I can't tell you in words what I feel.
I can't show you with my hands.
What can I do for you to help you understand?
I could pour my heart out.
I could make it hurt.
I could cut through my neck
and return to dirt.
I could gnaw through my wrists
'til my veins ran dry again.

I can't say this too much; that I really care.
I can't show you who I am.
What can I say to you to get your ear?
Should I scream it loudly?
Should I tear my throat
'til the blood starts gushing?
Or should I just cope?
Should I tear my heart out
and give it to you dear?

Just when I thought that I was through,
these awkward fits of passion that you put me through,
abducted me, sent me to die......alone.

Should I cut my heart out to make an oath
That I’ll never leave your side?
Can you just believe me or should I admit it’s through?
If I drank bottle
Of DDT
Would it make you love me
Or just be obscene?
Is it possible that
I could be with you?

I never thought that I would say
“You may never see me ever again.” Until this day.
I’m so confused. Oh never mind...it’s through.
