Another poem from KM Shoremount.
There once was a boy, distraught and such
Loving a girl just cost him too much
He went through his life alone and uptight
And all of the girls put him in fright
Until that one-day his eyes fell upon
A beautiful creature that made like a swan
Gliding through the air with such bliss
But she was hiding the truth inside this
A soul of fear, an essence of fright
She locked up her feelings and walked through the night
Sole and forgotten from the ones once held dear
The boy was intrigued she held nothing near
He followed this girl; another lost one
Through the night and in the day towards the sun
Studying her movement, her hair and her smile
This one was worth it, worth every mile
But as the boy knew, love brought only pain
One day he awoke and she was loved again
This time by another, again not by him
And he lowered himself into his darkest of sins
Envious for her, wanting her touch every minute
Six months go by, he’ll still feel he needs

And I - this boy, fallen victim it seems
To her beauty and all that was seen
But he must admit, it was all but a dream and I
Am alone, lost

Heart to rock, rock to ruins
Good lord please leave something brewing
Leave some sensation seeking an outer pull
A beautiful memory of her lovely call
Life may not bring love, but the boy wants something still
The boy wants her, and he can’t sleep
Until he gets his fill
