Author's Notes: I wrote this at age 8, I think.... It's in memory of my little sister, Jillian, who was born March 19th, 1999 and died from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) on May 15th, 1999. Because of her, I love my two year-old brother more than anything in this world.
Now she is up above,
The cutest angel you can love,
even though she was so small,
about twice the size of a basketball
Although she may be millions of miles away,
I still talk to her every day,
I never lose hope,
if that's what it takes,
A stronger bond is what I will make
My life takes sharp turns,
but my sister never leaves my side,
She helps me go through every day,
Taking moderate strides
If you can read this from over my shoulder,
God Bless You!
I will see you when I get older,
but for now,
stay by my side,
help me through hardships in my life,
I love you, Jilly!
