This is about losing who you are
As she looks at herself in the mirror,
She sees a distorted vision of a girl she is begining to despise.
So confused, so lonely, she wishes she could just disappear.
To her, the face in the mirror is becoming harder to recoginize.

So many things begin to run through her head,
As the ground beneath her starts to crumble.
Does she really have anyone at all?
Will someone catch her if she were to stumble.

No one knows what it's like to be her,
You think she is happy just because her face is smiling.
If you would just take a closer look,
You would see, that on the inside... her heart is crying.

She finds herself looking at this mirror and wondering,
"What happened to the girl I used to see?"
The one who never had anything to worry about?
The one who was excited... just to be.

She burdens herself with the worries of those around her,
But she buries her problems within herself and locks them deep inside.
Running away from the things seh needs to face,
Till she cannot run anymore and her problems become hard to hide.

The rip away at her self-confidence,
Her sanity almost no where to be found.
All that she wants is for salvation,
But that too has fell through the ground.

The face in this mirror turns from anger to sorrow,
As tears stream down her face like rain.
No one deserves what she is going through.
How could someone be in so much pain?

As she takes one last look into that mirror,
She asks herself, "How could this be?"
The whole time she was looking in the mirror,
I had no idea that, this girl.... was me.
