Faith

“Faith”

She sat afar hoping for the package to arrive.

Three days earlier she had received a note saying,

“You will receive a special package in three days.”

So, she waited and waited, when lo and behold the next day, there was a knock at the door.
She ran to it, and
there on the ground lay a package.
She brought it inside, closed the door, ripped it open to see a note saying:

“Go to your mailbox and there will be a $100 bill waiting for you.”

She quickly ran to the door, opened it,
and was surprised to see it was pouring rain.
so hard she could hardly see out.
She closed the door and went and sat on her couch
to wait out the rain, but she soon found herself
going on with her day,
and forgetting about the note.

The previous day before, she sat and waited,
When lo and behold there was a knock at the door.
She ran to open the door, and
there on the ground lay a package.
She brought it inside, closed the door, ripped it open to see a note saying:

“Go to your mailbox and there will be a check for 50k, to go toward any college of your dream.”

She ran to the door quickly and opened to see
high winds that stung her eyes.
She closed the door and went and sat on her couch
to wait out the wind,
but she soon found herself on with her day,
and forgetting about the note.

Now she sat waiting again for the package to arrive.
She sat and sat, when she heard a
knock at the door.
She ran to open the door and
all that lay on the ground was a envelope.
She picked up the envelope and slowly closed the door.
She opened it and read:

“I said go to your mailbox for $100.
But you didn't go.
I said go to your mailbox for a 50k scholarship.
But you did not go.
There was nothing both times,
but if you had gone,
you would gotten both. Plus you would see a car in front of you.”

Inside of the envelope was another tiny note saying:

“Your Package”

She turned the note around and it said:

“Faith.”
