Inside My Heart

Inside my heart was so empty and gray,
No stars in my nights, no sun in my day.
Inside my heart was so lonely and sad,
I wished for a love like I’d never had.
Inside my heart has been one special guy,
For years I stared into his bright blue eyes.
Inside my heart I felt he should be mine,
For just me to love, until the end of time.
Inside my heart I thought he must not have a clue,
Then, one day he held me and said that he loved me too.
Inside my heart is no longer empty and gray,
Now stars fill my nights and the sun shines all day.
Inside my heart is undying love for this man,
I will take care of him the best that I can.
Inside my heart is reserved for him only,
There is no more sad, there is no more lonely.
