About the a werewolf changing from predator to prey. My first piece of work!
It was the hottest day of the summer. I had been hunting for the three months. My prey had fled into the city. I had prayed to God that he give me the strength I needed to complete the task he set upon me. I cruised down the highway on my Kawasaki Ninja, black, like my mood.

I looked forward and I could see the city looming over me. I rode on, cutting off a family van as they honked angrily. I turned about and flipped them bird. I had more on my mind than worrying about some urbanite upscale wannabe's thoughts.
I kicked up the speed and pulled ahead letting the wind whip through my hair. I would have to catch him this time; the full moon would be here in three days. Not a lot of time before he kills again.

I arrived into the city and went for a cheap motel. From there I opened my file I had on the demon. He liked to hunt prostitutes, why I'll never know, but that is where I will find him.

I take the time to clean my weapons, the chase through the sewers in the last city left them filthy and in desperate need of attention. I then pull from a special case a package of silver bullets. It was my last case and they cannot go to waste, it takes too many resources to acquire this much pure silver. I load the clips and slide one into each of my .45 Colt Defenders, then I slide two back up clips into a cargo pocket on my right side that I personally had sown in for the clips. Next I loaded my shotgun, however, this time my bullets will have to rotate between standard and the silver cast. I sighed and looked out the window; the blackness of the night sky wrapped its cold arms around the city. It was time.

I took my bike and rode downtown. I cruised on the main roads until I located where the prostitutes would be dealing tonight. Then I dismounted and climbed into the shadows and waited disguised as a homeless bum I leaned up against a building and sat down.

Within the hour my boy was on schedule and doing some hunting of his own. I watched as he approached one of the whores on foot. The carried on a brief discussion and then she began to walk away with him. I swiftly rose to my feet and shadowed him to his hotel. To my surprise we were on the same wave length and it was my hotel as well. I smiled, that means I had access to Betsy if needed. Maybe tonight God smiled on me.

I approached the door they went into and I could hear him and the whore. Tonight he did not hunt for food, but for pleasure. This did not detour me from God’s Task. The demon would die tonight before he could kill again.

I kicked in the door to his room, and I saw the whore leap from the bed blanket in hand. He had dove for a gun and began to fire in my direction I dodged and used the walls for cover, then fired a few rounds back in. I heard him swear in his demon tongue and I knew one of the bullets hit, but not a vital spot. Suddenly, I heard the whore scream, it was not scream of one that had a gun to her head but of one that saw something that should not be. I felt my stomach lurch. The moon was not full and not in view, how could he change? This is impossible!

No sooner did the whore scream, I heard a growl and it she was silenced. I knew this was not the place to fight the beast, so I ran to the stairs and hid behind them. He stepped out of the room and I had to catch my heart and hold it still so I would not run.

His massive body stood over six feet tall, although he hunched over. He had thick black fur, which covered his body; his face was that of a wolf, cunning and calculating. Saliva dripped from his glistening white canines and his ear swiveled about as he searches for any sound I could make. He tipped his head to the sky and sniffed, discovering my trail. He looked into my direction and saw me. I felt fear wash through me as our eyes connected and he begin to walk my way. I let loose with my Defenders, not holding back.
He dodged many of the bullets amazingly agile for a creature his size and charged me. I ran up the stairs still firing to keep him at bay and I raced for my room, I could hear him behind me, his steps were twice as fast and twice as long as mine.

I reached my room and started to push open the door when I felt his massive weight knock me over. I lost all the breath in my body. When my eyes refocused I looked up into his bloodied jaw. He had me pinned and I was at his mercy. He lowered his jaw to my face and I heard something vaguely human come from his mouth, “no strug-gle”. I continued to wiggle until he growled right in my face and I stopped, closing my eyes and fearing for the worst. That is when I felt it, my back up one shot wonder piece on my thigh.

I pretended to wiggle again so I could pull it from its tiny holster and I pointed it up and stopped moving so he would drop his guard. We sat there for about ten minutes glaring at one another, but it seemed like an eternity. Finally, I felt the pressure starting to release from my arms that is when I pulled the trigger. I watched him stumble backwards and fall onto his haunches shocked at what had just happened.

I swiftly backed up as he looked towards me and fell over. Slowly, he returned to his purest form, back to a man. I did not hang around to see the police arrive. I left the city and did not look back.
