Feelings

Tap on my window,
Knock on my door.
I want to make you feel beautiful,
thats how the song goes.

The door to my heart is open
waiting for you to enter.
The locks have been removed for you.
what was inside has been set free.

It moves around in my head
trying to get out in my words
these feelings that I write down
have a mind of their own.

Sometimes when I am just sitting
they get out and I am stuck
without pen or paper and they
travel in the air around my head.

They are loose now and I give them
freely to those who want or need
some kind of hope or understanding
of why things are, or why we care.
