Inspired by the time I went sky diving. I was so excited, I forgot to pull the cord...
Sick and Twisted
turn my wrist.
OK! OK!
Enough. I’ll stay.
What’s that?
We’re going where?
OK, I’m coming.
Just a minute.
Right behind you.
What the heck?!?
Oh, no! I swear
I’m not prepared for this.
I’d rather turn around.
Don’t shut the door.
I feel my ears.
I feel them popping!
Put us down!
Don’t make me do it.
On my wrist?
OK, OK.
Ten thousand feet?
With only this?
I’ll soil my shorts!
I’m staying here.
Or else you’ll what?
No way, I say.
Let’s see you try.
You’ll have to pry me
from my seat.
I’m staying here.
Oh, no! Let go!
Oh, golly! WHOA!!!
The earth below!
It’s brown and green,
with mesas, mountains,
lakes and streams
and now we’re twisting.
Turn your ankle,
make us swirl.
Dynamic air
directs our angle
as we hurtle
back to Earth,
to tiny specks --
they're really houses,
trucks, and cars
and we're like birds.
I hear you squawking,
saying BWAWK,
but I don’t get it.
What’s your point?
You’re sayi-- OH!
You pulled the cord!
The wind has stopped!
We’re floating gently
to the ground.
We’re sliding in.
We’ve come to rest
and it was over in an instant.
You had wanted me to pull
but I was taken by the wind.
But, please, oh, please!
I won't forget!
I'll pull the cord
if you'll just
let me go again!
