During the summer of 96' I read a book called Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. I followed her lessons and learned how to draw. I was amazed that drawing is a learnable/teachable skill and armed with my new-found information, I would visit elementary school classes and show them what I learned, and modifying lessons to make them age-appropriate.
A 3-B pencil is my favorite tool. I love drawing animals and am currently working on human faces.
