Dreaming Of You

When I try to go to sleep,
In my thoughts you slowly creep.
Whenever I close my eyes,
Behind my lids you reside.
Your face is always in my mind,
Your smile, your words, oh so kind!
You see, in my head, you're always there.
So with you, these thoughts, I must share.
Everyday you are in my head.
From when I wake, to when I go to bed.
The one thing I am waiting for,
Is for our friendship to become something more.
The day you press your lips to mine,
The memory will stay with me for all time.
I wish and pray to the stars and the moon,
