When lovers are lost,
but loves not gone.
Someone please show the way,
how do I carry on?

The days are all empty,
the skies have turned gray.
I know not what to do,
so I stop and I pray.

Dear lord please help me,
I'm scared and alone.
If love comes but once in a lifetime,
I'm afraid she was the one.

What good are these eyes,
if I never see her again.
My heart is now useless,
never again more, than a friend.

But the sun rises tomorrow,
and my friends see me through.
