Declaration of undying love (An acrostic around the name-- Sherlock Holmes)
ENGRAVED IN HEART—an acrostic

So what if the days are dark;
How does it affect me?
Endless is my love and to
Retract is blasphemy.

Love truly occurs but once;
Occurring, why complain?
Cry in love, why should not I?
Know not you what is pain?

How can I forget it was,
On yester eve you said:
“Love is but a part of life,
Moments sans love are dead”.

Engraved you are in my heart;
Surely we can never part.
