Weekly Editor's Letter: NOTE: For those who were transferred, you may now safely remove yourselves from the former newsletter group: "Invalid Item" by A Guest Visitor Spring is notorious for change. Riots of foliage and blooms emerge; it’s a good thing, right? Why then do WE tend to resist change? I’ve noticed in myself the urge to resist change because most of my life is run on autopilot. The more things I can do without thinking about them, the more I can accomplish in a day. (And with four kids THAT is a good thing!) Simply put, change requires more effort. However, all writers can benefit from a new prospective. The Dead Poet’s Society is a movie that deals with this. (If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it, it’s my favorite!) Revitalize your outlook and rejuvenate your creativity. Take a different way to work today, join a new group or start a new project. Take spring-cleaning to a new level and clear the cobwebs from your mind as well! If it didn't change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation. Kin Hubbard The only sure thing about luck is that it will change.
