An Example Unrateable Item

This is an example of an unrateable item on Writing.Com. An item can be set unrateable using the option found in the "Item Preferences" area of any item create or edit screen.

There is no area to rate the item, but feedback can be provided using the email box found just below the item; Gift Points may also be sent with the feedback!

Feedback using the embedded email box below can be sent multiple times for each item; this differs from reviews which can only be sent one time per item. This is an extremely useful feature of unrateable items! Those looking for feedback on individual journal entries might consider the unrateable item type specifically for this feature.

The member sending the feedback will receive a carbon copy of the feedback email they send using the box below.

For unrateable items, anonymous feedback is NOT allowed. For members who wish to receive comments only from those who include their name, the unrateable item option is an excellent choice!
