Proud to Be

I am proud of what I am
I don't mean this to be arrogant
But everything I've done is for everyone

I am proud of what I am
So just what am I
That makes me me stand tall?

I am an American
I am a Navy Sailor
I am a firefighter

I serve my country
I serve my fellow man
I serve my god

I push my self everyday
to do better than I did
the day before that I tried so hard

I'm not saying I'm superior
I'm not saying I'm a god
I'm saying I'm proud

Proud of what I do
Proud of who I am
Proud for every person, who's life I've
touched

I love the things I fight for
I love the things I do
I am proud of what I am
