A harmless exercise in doggerel.
Vaguely fading dreams drifting
pale horses, snowcapped mountains
violet flowers weaving sifting
Living life like treacle fountains

Say you sensible this is not?
Sing I a favour to your brain.
life fits no simple slot
and boredom is the greater pain.

Brightly burning pyres flicker
livid like a rose in bloom
the soul of creation is thicker
than that of the stock boardroom.

Reaching out with hands that smile
I offer love and light for all.
And if you prefer the darker mile
I have no problem with that stall.

Come one come all, rejoice your life
and do not argue with your wife
for I will show you pain and pleasure
greater than that had with knife.
