Obsessed

I often think I’m crazy
         I get stuck on a thought and can’t shake it
         I live more comfortably in my mind than in the world

Lately I’ve been stuck on panic
         I feel like there’s no safe spot in my life
         I just want someone to talk to and spend time with

Instead I live in anxiety
         I feel like I’m not enough for anyone in my life
         I can’t make myself ask for attention or reassurance

So my brain is stuck
         Every thought is telling me I am alone
         Every daydream is of bad things happening to people I care deeply for
