and his advisor, Salmon
33 Lines / 181 Words / For "The Writer's CrampOpen in new Window.

Said the salmon to the trout,
"My friend, you are quite stout,
What is it all about?"

Said the trout to the salmon
"Well, you see, the best fun
Is eating mango in the sun."

"When fish hooks come threatening
Or ticklers come beckoning
I eat mango, though it's fattening."

"But friend, you should remember
There are less calories in cucumber
Eat cucumber, from Jan to December!"

It was just as salmon predicted
Trout was actually addicted!
In denial, quite defeated.

"I must get another dish
For my friend, this fat fish
On a star I do wish!"

Just then, what do you know
Some larvae floated by the duo
And trout gobbled them with gusto.

"Hey, you're rehabilitated!
Now you've changed the fated!
There are nice girl trouts to be dated!"

So the trout and his new girl
Went for a whirl
And oyster gave a pearl

So the trout got married
And by his wife is now harried
He wishes he had tarried

But really wants to go
Wherever the river does flow
and eat Mango. Go, man, go!
