The heart of the people are mirrors of humanity, of love and of grace.
Window To My Soul

Silence!
I cry to the hurt that beats within my heart
Mocking the darkness that surges with treachery
Moans of distress that bury the laughter
In the deepest recesses of human kindness
Tears of regret that flow through the veins of Mother Earth
Punishing with impudence, boldness and with animal desire
Silence!

Harken!
To the cry of the pitiful, the mighty giant of broken thoughts
For in the midst of chaos, there remains but one voice
That breaks the din in the midst of destruction
Begging for mercy, screaming for solace;
For the swords of hatred are weapons of the weak
Demeaning, unforgivable in their threats
Because hallowed lives are wasted by he wayside.
Hearken!

Listen!
There is gloom in the land
A heavy mist of bombs are blasting from aircrafts in the sky
The sun hides behind rainfalls that fill the rivers with blood
The populace scatter to the depths of the earth
Deeper, further into the world of the ungodly
There is no escape from the onward spread of poisoned clouds
There are but cries of the pitiful, unceasing.
Listen!

Release Me!
I cry to the fire that burns the spirit as it boils
Patriotic though it may seem as anger flows vividly
For the fight is not won by wielding heavy guns of death
Nor by a vast array of killing machines that destroy
Nor by a release of a host of prejudicial selfishness
Nor by the use of a heavy artillery of gross hatred.

Open!
I say to the window in my heart and soul and my grief
Seek the meaning of diplomacy, of love and of grace
For selfishness and a heart filled with hatred
Are mere mirrors of human frailty, of selfishness and hatred
For only a heart filled with warmth and human consciousness
Are mirrors of kindly hearts, open minds and untarnished souls.
