My ideal weekend
is not
this blanket of insecurity
or this constant uncertainty
that hope brings
(despite its good intentions)
But rather
the destiny that fate designed for us
come to fruition on a
sun-drenched Saturday
and roll into a blue-sky Sunday
and I can finally find myself
in your arms
as intended
