PARC project : Kazamba working office

The Consultation framework of Kazamba commune, town of Kikwit, Kwilu province in the south-west of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Central Africa, has finally set up a working office that will enable the team set up by the PARC project to better carry out actions in collaboration with the commune's authorities. All this to improve or better develop the lives of the communities in this decentralized territorial entity.

The communal authorities entrusted this framework a few days ago. The PARC project team from the town of Kikwit visited this workplace last week to appreciate the location and size.

“It's a good setting. It's in your interest to make it pleasant and attractive. The PARC project will certainly provide you with some working materials in order to function well. You must always work in collaboration with the local authorities”, said Valentin Mbalanda, one of the project's executives in the town of Kikwit.

The beneficiaries were not indifferent to the fact that this was the first time the structure had obtained such an office since its inception over a year ago.

“We've always worked outside under the palaver tree. We're going to manage this office responsibly. I ask the population of the Kazamba commune to ensure that this beautiful setting is not damaged”, declared Georges Muntefwa, present at the meeting of the Kazamba commune consultation framework.

According to him, the work or activities that will be carried out in this office will be of a nature to satisfy the general interest of the population of this corner of the country.

“The office environment allows you to better discipline yourself to do your job because everyone around you is doing it too. It's motivating. When you're at home, it's often hard to start working, which isn't crazy at all. The home environment is very familiar, sometimes too familiar. If you have a very busy home, the office space can be the best place to work. You can get things done without ten other things demanding your attention. It also creates a clear separation between your professional and private life,” acknowledges gobright.com.
