A Fairy Tail Ending

And they lived happily ever after.
The ending closes the final chapter.
If only life could be so picturesque,
Maybe then I could peacefully rest.
To sleep knowing that life's struggles are finally over,
To know that a benevolent God is watching over my shoulder.
It is an ending so perfect it leaves nothing to explore.
Is a life like that truly a reward?
To know that I will experience my painful memories no more.
Knowing that my suffering ends while life goes on,
Watching as others go through what I've lost for so long.
Completely alone in my world full of bliss,
There can't be a worse ending than this.
